‘Activated air’ seed cleaning stands to reduce chemical usage in farming whilst improving plant productivity, so it is fitting that the first of the nominations should be in the Food & Drink category, which will be awarded to “the most impressive company, taking into account innovation, commercial success and business development”.

The second nominated award is in the Manufacturing Innovation category, for “impact on a regional / national / international level from an innovative product or process designed and manufactured in their region” – highly applicable to Zayndu, given the breakthrough science feeding into the design of the Aurora Z10 machine, responsible for applying the aforementioned ‘activated air’ technology.

Now in its twelfth year, Insider Made in the Midlands has grown from modest beginnings to a premier division event that regularly attracts entries from more than 70 companies, so the team at Zayndu is expecting tough competition.
